We’re now hiring a senior engineer to lead AI-driven development and own delivery of impactful product initiatives—shaping architecture, shipping features end-to-end, and accelerating how we build. The role offers a CTO growth path based on impact. This track isn’t about people management—it’s about technical leadership, architecture, and raising the engineering bar across the team.

You’ll work closely with two engineers, a senior product designer, and our CPO. You’ll touch both frontend and backend depending on your strengths, and help us maintain one of the fastest idea-to-production cycles in our space. We frequently hear from customers: “Wow, you’ve been building this with such a small team? I’ve never seen this speed before.”

What you’ll do

  • Turn ideas into production within days.
  • Help the team maintain and improve our already fast development cycles.
  • Establish AI-accelerated workflows (IDEs, context files, MCP connectors, QA/ops automations) and coach the team.
  • Design simple, secure, observable systems with pragmatic tests and alerts.
  • Partner with Product & Design; balance speed and quality to maximize customer value.

  • Modern stack: Angular 20, AWS serverless, strong component library with Storybook.
  • Ship fast: automated pipeline to production in <30 minutes; 20–40 deploys/day.
  • Focus time: only 2 weekly recurring meetings (+ daily standup) → developers spend ~95% on product work.
  • End-to-end ownership: typical feature cycles 3–5 days from concept to rollout.
  • Tests that matter: 3,000+ unit and 500+ e2e tests.
  • Real ownership: full access to infrastructure and tools – because we trust you to move fast and fix things
  • Resilient by design: serverless, isolated business logic; small blast radius.

Your profile...

  • Senior/Staff-level experience shipping across the stack (FE or BE affinity is fine).
  • You’ve used AI tools in development (e.g. for coding, testing, documentation) and are excited to help bring these into team workflows.
  • Architecture & operations maturity: CI/CD, testing strategy, observability, SLO thinking.
  • Pragmatic privacy & security for multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Clear communication, ownership, and mentoring experience.
  • You’re comfortable navigating complex architectures and bringing clarity and structure to them.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments—ideally with some experience in a growth-stage startup.
  • English fluency.

Nice to have / our stack

Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Serverless (Lambdas, Step Functions), DynamoDB, GraphQL, OpenSearch, Sentry, GitHub Actions, Storybook/Chromatic, Cypress, Jest. German language is a plus.
