The legal advice of the future: Axiom focuses on innovative learning formats for digital skills and legal tech

Combining technology knowledge and legal expertise for direct customer added value - by training Axiom's in-house counsel in the digital skills of the future

Summary

Nowadays, corporate lawyers are expected to provide more than just legal knowledge

In particular, the topics of technology and digitalization are becoming increasingly important in order to be able to solve legal tasks in companies cost-effectively and with high quality. By acquiring relevant skills in the areas of legal tech, digital technologies and agile methods, corporate lawyers can use their knowledge to provide clients with valuable, modern solutions.

Axiom was looking for a way to encourage their employees to engage in lifelong learning and wanted to provide them with the relevant learning tools to do so. Since the day-to-day work of their lawyers varies greatly both in terms of time and location, and their previous knowledge was also highly diverse, a goal-oriented and effective training program had to be highly individualized and location-independent. To meet these requirements, the Axiom team started a pilot project together with edyoucated.
